Mutinously, they stared at each other, weapons drawn, waiting for the other to launch the first attack.
The silence around them was deafening as the battleground they stood on was testament to their deep-seated rivalry.
Shreds of clothing lay before each warrior as he stepped over the debris and charged at the opponent.
Egos clashed with a fearsome clang as they came nose-to-nose in a dangerous duel.
‘Michael, I hope you’re not fighting with your brother again,’ their mom’s voice floated up from the kitchen below their bedroom.
