Tired of being afraid, of being told that I cannot do this
or cannot share this.
Tired of the stalkers that creep up and over my timeline
who make it their mission to instill fear in my heart.

You don’t gel
with the things that we say
Or the gossip we tell.
You can’t know
What it feels like
To whisper impish jokes
Or make crude noises.
You sit there
By that lonesome tree
